I have a new Howa that Im planning to put a CF stock on and am looking at using a 4-12 Leupold VX-Freedom which is 12oz. If I came across a good deal on the 2.5-8 I would probably go with that instead. I actually ruled out the Burris today because it was significantly heavier. My rifle is mostly going to be a range gun but I have dreams of chasing goats around mountain ranges with it.

Do you actually need the illuminated reticle under a spotlight? I legitimately dont know
