One can get by with just the scales and a brass case for a trickler -- it works!
BUT one WILL need a funnel.
Agree with Klem that the Forster is not minimalist and that a mid-range single stage will meet the needs. (The Forster can readily be one's second press -- hold off on progressive presses until you are sure the volume of shooting justifies the added expense.)
