A .094 gas port is standard for RLGS 20 barrel, which has ideal dwell time for most loads.
20 Grendels run very smoothly with that port.
An 18 RLGS Grendel with .094 is on the edge of having sufficient dwell time, and will cross over that edge as the temps dip in the winter or at night/early morning.
This is why at least 2 companies have been making Intermediate Length Gas port locations on 18 Grendel barrels.
