Ive read through the rokslide 223 thread also and find it quite interesting.
I definitely agree that the 77 TMK is a lethal bullet and I maintain a supply of them on hand. (Bone Frog Gun Club has a Federal TRU load available right now, if you want some and are a member.)
In fact, most every bullet can be lethal. I do wonder about the time factor. Lethal is lethal. But what about incapacitation time? Would a 77gr TMK incapacitate a large, potentially dangerous animal as fast as a larger caliber might?
Some in that thread advocate the 223 77 gr TMK for grizzly bears. Hmm, Ill pass on that if a more robust cartridge is readily available.
