I did eventually get the screw out but its threads were stripped as were the threads in the knob body. What I did was re-tap the hole with a 6-40 tap & use a new screw from my spare screw kit. I also added some blue loctite to all 3 screws. Only needed one of the rubber o-rings.
I haven't had any trouble so far with the screws stripping and I also only use 1 rubber ring. That knob makes it so much easier to open the bolt and it helps my hand to clear my scope.
