The energy argument was raised in an earlier post in this thread.
I do not know, when, when, or how our larger hunting community became mesmerized by energy as the principal metric for bullet lethality.
That energy fascination delayed hunting bullet evolution and still confuses the majority of hunters.
I do know, however, that I was part of that community until lI did some serious research in why the Grendel performs so well on game.
