There are a huge number of 243 Win users who would disagree that 6mm bullets are useless for deer.
I am a Grendel fan who accepts that other cartridges will do as well or better in some areas. Nonetheless the Grendel continues to be the most flexible cartridge for game weighing less than about 350 lb.
True, the maximum range is somewhat less than larger 6.5 mm cartridges, but that maximum range for properly designed bullets covers all the territory an ethical hunter should consider taking a shot over.
Back to ARC bashing. As with the Grendel will do as well as the 243 or 6mm Creedmoor but with a somewhat reduced range to assure bullet terminal performance.
