Like the .223, the 6mm ARC has lots of velocity but little energy. Therefore both lack penetration capability and are designed and good for nothing but wounding and maiming. Viet Naum all over again. The Army loves that, but it is lousy for ethical hunting. (Say, I thought that this was a 6.5 Grendel blog, but it looks like the 6mm people are taking over here also.) So you can get a 6mm bullet accurate out to 1250 yards, but its not going to be able to do anything when it gets there. You will have to set up your iphone to relay the "ping".
