Welcome aboard. I agree wholeheartedly from a practical standpoint.
ItÂ’s like a modern 6.5x54 M-S, .30-30, or 250 Savage performance that fits inside the much shorter COL of the standard AR-15 receiver set, with 3-4 different components (barrel, bolt, mags, muzzle device).
Very easy to shoot and gain immediate target feedback from, as opposed to many other cartridges that rob you of feedback due to recoil/muzzle blast.
