Wish I could figure out how to post pics, but my son killed his second deer this morning, a doe at 50yd with a 6.5G Howa mini. Shot her broadside just after daybreak, but I thought that he missed. She ran like she was scared, not like she was hit. I also saw the bullet hit the ground and make a frost cloud low and to the right behind her, so I thought that he had yanked his shot. Didnt realize it was just because of the pass through.
100gr NPT at 2770fps did great, making a blood trail 6ft wide in some places. Ran about 50-60yd into some thick nastiness
