How do you guys level scopes?

I level the reticle and bubble on the scope with a plumb bob first, marry them up dead nuts! Then use the cheap “Wheeler” scope kit to find top dead center on the gun. Then match the scope bubble to the gun bubble! Perfect every time! truthfully, I don’t think it has to be that close with centerfire for most people but you can see results with long range rimfire and long range pellet guns where the “max ordinate” is remarkably high for such short distances!
