My best group is at 2550/s. I know advertised opening velocity for the MKZ is 1500/s which takes it to about 600 yards. (Which I doubt I will do.)
Question - Does this sound like an adequate velocity to cleanly kill deer out to 3 or 400 yards?
(18 Lilja barrel, AR15, 105 MKZ, 28.4 gr of XBR8208 powder, R7.5 primer, 2.26 COAL, about 80 degrees, 100 yards. 4 shots make a 0.45 group with only 0.4 vertical spread. I shot a 5 shot group with one shot making the group about 0.8)
