Thanks. My takeaway is that that would lead to the chance of individual operator error in the manufacturing process.

I always wondered how it was even possible with my exploding McGowan 6mm Grendel. But the muzzle threads were a hack job (which ruined the threads on the comp I installed) and the gas port wasn't drilled deep enough. I always theorized that the gas port was drilled for 6.5 Grendel. Given what I recall the chamber looking like with a case in it versus my BHW 243 LBC, it almost makes me think a bit (or whatever they use) for 6.5mm was used instead of 6mm.
