There are several manufacturers that will make Savage-contour barrels.
I plan to order a barrel from PacNor (http://www.pac-nor.com/wildcat/) as soon as I my reamer is finished. My reamer is not for the 6.5 Grendel but they list a "6.5 Gren Match" as one of their wildcat calibers.
From what I understand, you will be happier in the long run by going with the SAAMI version even for a bolt gun. This is particularly true if you contemplate using Wolf Steel Case ammunition.
You may want to give them a call or drop an email to find out what differences exist between the "6.5 Grendel Match" and the SAAMI version. They may be reluctant to answer directly because I understand SAAMI has not yet released the official drawing set. The key question is whether their chamber is consistent or the same as what Alexander Arms uses.
