How was the Field of View on them? Specs say 195ft at 1000yds, which Im assuming is on 20x and not 80x.
I love Steiner binos for the optical clarity and durability. The standard issue rubberized OD green versions we had have been put through extreme abuse-the worst of which was when Assistant Gunners would strap them into their rucks next to the tripod on jumps. I dont know how they survived that, but they did. Things were built like tanks. Very heavy though.
