Red dots for hog hunting

I wouldn’t be afraid of a larger MOA, say 3 or 4. I run 3’s on a couple of AK47’s for 12” steel plate silhouettes. Zero the top of the dot, 12 o’clock, at 100. That puts the center of the dot dead on at 200, and then hold the bottom of the dot, 6 o’clock, on his head at 300. It’s ridiculous how easy it becomes and you can wear them out at 300, all day long using the mag for a monopod and crappy Russian steel ammo!
