Lapua has been a better comparative Value as of late, from my perspective. Not sure What all Lapua does though their quality & Strength is second to none. Tighter primer pockets = Plus. Longevity = Plus Uniformity = Plus. I have seen less than a 10% increase in price on Lapua brass this year.
With Starline, Im seeing more like a 50% price increase. Wanted Another Head stamp I'n my mix for sorting loads & just wanted to try Starline brass. So I sucked it up & purchased American made. Received The order today & will say I was quite satisfied with the quality. Resized this brass to 6mm ARC. Hope to make it out to start load work up soon. My primary reservation thus far is the Primer pockets are a bit looser than Id prefer. Otherwise uniformity looks quite impressive based on a 50 pice sample I worked with this evening.
