My go-to bolt carriers now are Bootleg, since you can adjust the gas on them right through the ejection port with a flathead screwdriver.
Thats kind of a must when talking suppressed, but I also put one in my 17.6 MLGS Grendel since MLGS 18 rifles have a bit more plug dwell time than I like.
For bolts, I have not had any issues with AA, Precision Firearms, or the Monster logo forum bolts, and I have an Ultrabolt on the way.
For cam pins, I like to polish the articulating surfaces on mine to ensure smoother rotation through the places they touch in the upper.
Alexander Arms probably has/had the best firing pin with the tri-lobal shaft, which will have the least friction inside the channel.
So my current ideal BCG would be:
Ultrabolt
Bootleg Adjustable Gas Carrier that passes armorers gauges
AA trilobal firing pin
Captive Firing Pin Retaining Pin
Lantac cam pin
