OK update....First thing this morning got a phone call. The builder had seen this condition in the past and it was not an issue in his opinion. This mattered not, all he was concerned with was MY opinion on my purchase. He offered me a full refund or a new barrel on the spot. I opted for the new barrel a man who stands behind his work and product even if he wasn't the barrel maker deserves my business. To Andy at GH thumbs up!
