One strange thing happened a few years ago at a local Walmart. They had a sign with the red hand gun in a circle with a line which typically means no concealed carry. In small letters on the sign it said no Walmart associates were armed. Several customers complained and management removed the signs. That particular symbol is stipulated by Illinois law regarding no concealed carry. I doubt this was the only Walmart to ever display these signs knowing Walmart management practices.
