And in any case, I think she's always (in her political career) been incapable of objectivity on this subject. Her boss was gunned down right in front of her way back in the day. No lawyer would allow a person with her history to sit a jury for any kind of violent crime.
Good points about objectivity. There are others, however, who would recognize that had, ahe and other members of the council been armed, the perp might not have have succeeded.
Regarding the lucidity of response, when was the last time that any of us got a note from a sitting member of congress that wasnt drafted by a staff member and probably auto signed?
Lest we have too much fun with this, I just slapped my forehead with the realization that I might wbe straying into that grey and fuzzy boundary betweem 2A and non-2A discourse.
