I tried a PRS but swapped it out when realising at 1.5" above the rail you don't need a cheek riser on an AR. Having all that adjustable mechanism means there is no room for a rear compartment so it is wasted space. I prefer a Magpul MOE fixed rifle stock with compartment for spare bolt, oil, AGB wrench, and boresnake. The expensive PRS sits in the spare's drawer.
Happy's warning about removing the bolt on a bolt gun with a riser is a good one. I kept having to drop the riser on a McMillan A5 every time the bolt was inserted/removed, which is a pain. The solution was to remove a bite out of the front of the riser with a drill press and file. Then seal it up with two-part epoxy (Devcon). You don't need all the riser; your cheek only makes contact back from the front edge. By doing this the riser can stay up and fixed in place.
