I will, but I am not expecting great results. I tried previously with a very small (and potentially unrepresentative) sample and wasn't impressed (n=2, IIRC), but that isn't very useful. So, I need a bigger sample to get a better idea of what it can do.

The problem is, I am shy on hogs. Two nights ago, I came across the largest sounder than I have seen in a while (~20 piggies) and I doubt any were over 70 lbs. I shot 5 and they ranged between 25 and 55 lbs. I was lucky to get a crack at those. On several of my properties, I am not seeing any hogs or hog damage. Landowners are happy, but the hunter isn't.

I have run this bullet hog hunting. Though I suspect my own load may be a bit overpressure, and when I see their listed MV at almost 200 fps lower than mine, I REALLY suspect I'm over pressure (ARCOMP,). my own hog hunting is mixed with unclean data, as done with multiple hunters, and for safety, we never split up. From what I can tell, I got one DRT impact I'm pretty confident was me and the ammo. Small 50-70 lbs hog at 50 yards or so on the run. Feel good about that one. And maybe 4 or so either clean misses, or very little effect, not sure. I'm embarrassed by the number of potential misses, as I do have an Ego and like to think of myself as a good shot, but here we are. One lesson-learned I have with hog hunting, is the guy with the laser range finder who calls 70 yard, can (more than once) be hitting a twig between you and hogs that are actually 200 yards away! There is a skill to running Thermal at night and geting the yardage estimation correct; particularly if not running the higher end thermal units. And also, the skill of shooting as a hunter, and the skill of marksmanship, only overlap so much. I also find as a recreational hog hunter who does it 1-2x/year, is that the competency on day 1 is not nearly as good as it is on day 2. And day 3 would be even better, which is usually pondered while driving home on thrbmorning of day 3!

Thanks for posting the ammo find - it's good to see at least some avenue for people. It's a decent bullet and I run it to 500 yards at time on bullseye targets and gongs too.
