Dumb new Lapua brass question

Don't mean to derail, but how would you square something turning it 180 degrees? My brain is too slow to understand why not 90, or 270. You will be along the same axis at 180 so correction for lateral deviation isn't established. If I were setting a fence post blah blah blah

Fair question...my thoughts are if you seat and the seater-cone is not exactly square to the neck-axis then a situation could be the bullet starts seating according to the axis of the cone. Rather than allow the cone to bias the seat you spin to give the same force in exactly the opposite direction...Just a theory, but as it takes no time and effort to quickly spin half way through its peace of mind.

I use Lee collet dies to neck size in other calibres. For a similar reason I spin the case 45-degrees and size again. The collet is divided into 4 sections so it's just a habit to spin so the gaps between the collet sections are gripping evenly. Again, just a theory and little effort for peace of mind.
