Bjorn,

How high is your scope axis above the rail?

Typically the scope axis is 1.5" above the rail, plus the inch from the rail to the bore axis is 2.5" total. This is high compared to bolt guns. My thoughts would be not to bring your cheek up to the scope but bring the scope down to the natural AR cheek weld at 1.5".
