If you don’t need a quick follow up shot the bolt action are very efficient. I happen to enjoy shooting AR-15’s and shoot my dedicated 22 LR AR-15 frequently. I shoot my 6.5 Grendel AR-15’s more than my 5.56/223 but I still like my 5.56/223 AR’s.


I find AR-15’s and 6.5 Grendel cartridge very addictive so I am the last person to give advise. I have a Cz 527 in 6.5 Grendel and I like it.
