Hi dpete, I'm not wondering nor caring about weight
far more, distance, accuracy and the power to take down an animal.
At this point I'm trying to learn what a 24", or a 28" barrel can do in all my ideal
situation's, or at least hopes at this time.
I'm not a fan of the short barrels either, as you can see from the posts were talking long barrels.
I pride myself as a shooter, so one day I might decide to put myself in a target shooting event, the next going out west and hunting for Mule deer and Antelope and Hunting yotes across the wide open come winter.
I'm soon to be 64, have hunted since I was 14, was a guide in Montana and Idaho, so my knowledge runs wide in hunting scenarios, terrain, flats and mountain regions.
