Thank you for a very thorough response DNS. I have seen bullets take the path of least resistance and veer off what you’d think would’ve been a straight line penetration. I completely agree with you that the point of aim should reflect where the bullet will likely travel than the spot on the exterior of the target. I’ve seen bullets trajectory through the target disrupted by impacting bone or other structures inside the critter thus giving unpredictable bullet path or exit wound.
