……….lhas anyone else noticed that copper patches after running Gold-Dot reloads seem to take more effort to get the copper out?

I took Bryan Litz advice a while ago and started using “abrasives” to clean the barrel. It’s much less labor intensive and time consuming. He recommends JB Bore Paste but I have used Iosso alternatively with similar results. I don’t have the stamina or desire to use solvents anymore after using his method. The longer you go between intervals, the dirtier the barrel, the more copper or carbon foulIng, the more beneficial the use of abrasives. YMMV.
