There’s no way of knowing what your actual chamber pressures are without pressure test data from a calibrated test breech with the same reamer, rifling profile, bore, and land dimensions you have in your barrel.

I know a guy who shoots a lot of High Power matches with 6mm wildcats, and he was loading way higher than what we typically see even for 6.5 Grendel in the 6mm AR Turbo. He was constantly breaking bolts, but the performance was so good he just kept replacing bolts.

An internal ballistics theoretical model just isn’t going to give you any relevant data.

If you look at the other thread, I took 2 known pressure loads from Hodgdon’s test breech, and 2 forum members ran those through QL and GRT.

The estimated pressures were over 9,200psi over on one, and well over 10,000psi for the other from the ballistics models.

Sometimes the modeling software can be 20,000psi off of reality.

For a wildcat like this especially, you would need pressure test data and then enter that into an engine to see how changes to seating depth and whatnot might affect pressure.
