I like having both ARs and bolt guns in shared calibers. I have ARs and bolt guns in .223/5.56, 7.62x39, and .308.
Had I known CZ was discontinuing the 527 and dropping the Grendel, I would have bought one a couple of years ago. So, gotta go with Howa to have a bolt gun to share ammo with my Grendel AR.
Anybody making 6.8 SPC bolt guns?
