Thanks for the feedback on the heavier 6.5 bullet for rams. I thought it would have a better chance than a 130, even if shot at a slower speed. No Go with that one.
I had my barrel maker make a 6.5 BR barrel for my Tubb 2K. Didn't do what I wanted but an interesting cartridge. Not a lot more powder capacity than a Grendel though. 31 or 32 grains is about it if I can remember correctly.
I mention this because as long as I have been shooting competitively, you are the only other guy I know who owned and shot a 6.5 BR.
