Are you zeroing out your calipers when you install the gauges?

With the calipers closed on the gauges, you want your calipers to read “0.000”.

Then place the de-primed case in the gauges and close the calipers to get your headspace reading.

Elfster has a great series on reloading the 6.5 Grendel that I highly recommend for those just learning the ropes on how to reload:
