New Howa Grendel owner

I’m very new to the 65G too and have the Mini Sporter. Yet to tune it for accuracy but ESs so far seem very promising and the little case seems to thrive up close to compressed. I’ve owned a few 243s in sporters and HBs. I prefer 243W in a varminter taking out a lot of the muzzle flip and getting the most out of its long range capability with higher BC pills. No doubt the 243 will do everything the Grendel will, and faster. But also in a heavier carry, with a lot more recoil (and flip in a Sporter) and a lot more noise. I’m aiming to get my Mini Sporter to 6lb wet, and for a little package like that, throwing 100gr deer-worthy pills at 2800+ with the recoil of a 22-250 and noise of a 223, it definitely ticks a lot of boxes.
