I like them. I'm a fan of the breakdown case approach with multiple guns. (If you can fit a pair of guns in one case, why waste the space on a second case? Besides, you don't want your guns getting lonely in a dark case.)
I like side charging uppers. Are those Devil Dogs? With using those, how much do you still feel you gain, with the charging handle still moving straight back from the rear of the receiver compared to a side-charging receiver? The advantage I primarily saw in side charging was that I didn't have to lose my sight picture to charge the gun. Do you do it primarily because the standard charging handle is under the scope?
