Lastrites , don't you hate it when a dozen hogs are 10 yards from you in grass or brush and you can't see them.. I was able to shoot a few more rounds at 50 and 100 yards. At 100 yards Factory loaded 123gr SSTs 3 shot group was 1.25 inches, that was better than groups before the lapping and shimming. Took some 50 yard shots with maker 95 grain and the 12 inch barrel just does not like them. I have some 85 grain but did not shoot any thru the 12 inch barrel. I have a 16 inch upper that can shoot them. I have a few of the SSTs and have taken some hogs with them. I shot a large boar last year about 40 yards? thru shield and shoulder and got a pass thru somehow. I plan on trying a few more 6.5 Grendel factory loads thru the 12 inch Green Mountain barrel if I can find some that interest me.. Also shot The 350 L. The 350 Legend does not like 150 grain Winchester Deer Season XP ammo at 50 and 100 yards..to bad because they are said to expand well out to 200 yards, no problems with 160 grain Defender and 180 grain power point ammo. I ordered some 160 grain copper ammo from Bear Creek Ballistics to try.
