Yea... I've been tracking ammo prices since late 2019, and it's been making me super sad. I thought I was going to have the Grendel built somewhere in the middle of 2020, but finding a barrel has been a monumental headache. I had heard good things about Precision Firearms but also that they had been having some sort of issues. After reading through this forum, I now understand what happened. I think Criterion has just quit making non-5.56/.223 barrels so that just leaves the high end manufacturers (Krieger/Douglas/Compass Lake/etc.). Any case, my plan is to use it for long range plinking and hopefully hog hunting if I can find land near me where I'd be allowed to hunt.
