I've got both triggers & I, personally, can't say one is better than the other. I'd say go with the LaRue for the money savings.
As for scopes, at the ranges you mentioned, you shouldn't need any more that a 1-6X scope. What brand? For $300-$400, there's a bunch of good scopes that will fit your needs... Leupold, Vortex, Burris, Primary Arms...
Thanks! Yea Ive got several vortex on other guns including red dots for my pistols and other deer rifles. so I was def leaning towards them. I was looking at the crossfire 2 3x9 but Im just not sure exactly what Im looking to do yet.
