Welcome to the forum Banjo! I dont think you can make a blanket statement on accuracy on a new build, especially with one hand load. Further testing might reveal your gas block is hitting the hand guard under recoil and affecting accuracy or some other anomaly. It could be the AA barrel just doesnt shoot the 123 grain SST bullet well.
It is not uncommon to have manufacturing difference to where seating the bullet at 2.260 C.O.A.L. is in the lands of one barrel and off the lands by a couple thousandths in another barrel.
