I think you have a great build planned there. I like using BCM upper receivers for a super tight barrel-to-receiver fit, but it's not absolutely required. You can occasionally find the blemished ones on sale to save a little money.
Triggers are entirely subjective, but here is my take:
1. Geissele makes excellent triggers. If you're going to spend Geissele money, get the SSA-E over the regular SSA.
2. LaRue MBT-2S triggers are pretty comparable to the Geissele SSA, but significantly less expensive. They are my favorite value for general purpose rifles. I sold my SSA to buy 2 MBT-2S triggers. And then I bought some more. At under $100, they're hard to beat. Skip the MBT-1S single stage.
3. Hot take: TriggerTech might make the best triggers for the money. After shooting my hunting buddy's R700 with TriggerTech, I picked up their Competitive 3.5 lb trigger for my Mk12 and it has been a revelation. It's called a 2-stage, but the first stage is so short, it might as well be a single stage, and the action is so smooth that it feels even lighter than advertised. It breaks like a tuned 1911 trigger and is a dream to use. I liked it so much that I just ordered a TT Adjustable for my 6.5 Creedmoor AR and I can't wait to test it out.
