You can use a 14.5" barrel with a flash suppressor or muzzle brake welded or permanently pinned to get the minimum 16".

Yes, I was aware of that, but doesn't it seem strange that Hornady would choose that barrel length for their tests? What percentage of reloaders for that particular cartridge are reloading for a 14.5" barreled gun?
