EC Tuner Brake

I went back and watched the 2 videos from EriK Cortina and F Class John that discussed using the EC tuners and both of them shot 2 shots and if they were not touching then they adjusted the tuner up by 2 then shot again on the next target and no chrono data was needed as the target is all they looked at. When 2 shots touched then they would shoot a third shot at the same target for grouping. Cortina was using factory Berger ammo in a 6.5 Creedmoor AR10 and F Class John had his bolt action competition rifle, I don't remember his caliber. F Class John had a different style of tuner on his rifle but it was made by EC and worked the same as Eriks tuner did. Both rifles had high end barrels so that has to be taken into account. Both stated that once they settled on a group then they locked down the tuner and they didn't adjust it again. F Class John did say that when he was shooting in competition one time and everything was going off the rails and he then referred back to the original targets to decide which way to adjust the tuner that day (up or down) but he has only done that once.

If the tuner messes up the harmonics so much that the groups are that large before you get a chance to dial them in then not sure if there is enough adjustment to actually help. Might be a different story for handloads developed with the tuner mounted though.
