Yep, another broken-extractor thread

I've been through 2 Black Rifle Arms Type 1 extractors in my 243 LBC. Each lasted a little over 500 rounds. Barrel is an 18" MLGS so it suffers from timing issues and the extractor is subjected to excess stress. Nonetheless, I wouldn't view their extractors as upgrades.

My old 22" JP 6.5G with RLGS couldn't get close to 28 grains of XBR with 123s. Pressure may be why your extractor broke.
