I think you misunderstood me. I believe that the 6.5 Grendel is a fine caliber. My point was there are some people who only think a short barrel AR is worth doing in a 6.5 Creedmoor or 308 Win. The point was perspective... the modularity of the AR platform means that I don't need a one-size fits all solution. I can mix and match to optimize.
