For the life of me, I don't know why a major bullet manufacturer doesn't take the 6.5mm 120-class into the 21st century by giving it one of the new hybrid nose ogives. Why do they keep offering the same old boring thing?

Attached is my Photoshopped example of a Berger 6.5mm 140gr with some bearing surface removed to reduce weight — nose and tail remain exactly the same. Simple, right?

High velocity and wicked BC, and would maximize the Grendel.

Hahaha it's hard enough to get hands on a .264 bullet 140 grains and under right now... but completely agree there's no reason we shouldn't be able to get a g1 bc within .020 of a .243 by tweaking core position and jacket thickness and shape
