Even the pretty Grendel bolts can shear

I’d be very concerned to have lost two bolts that close together. I’d be pulling bullets on my ammo and verify the charge weight and try to verify powder. Something seems to have changed to cause two bolt failures that close together. A electronic scale going bad or not balancing a beam scale can definitely have an effect on the powder charge being inaccurate.


Extreme temperature or bullets into the lands can spike pressure. Having over gassed system can also contribute to bolt failure. The investigative side of me doesn’t always accept coincidences.
