It is good to see a company paying attention to the SBR market and offering bullets geared to the SBR velocities.

I’ve used the Barnes blackout-specific 100 gr load (they also offer a 120 gr blackout load) in my blackout on Michigan whitetails several times. Each time I got through and through penetration (never recovered a bullet) with the boiler room looking like jelly.

I haven’t got a Grendel but am building a 6ARC SBR as soon as BFT gets his 12 inch Monster barrels in stock, so I hope Barnes will do an SBR load for that.

The arc may be fast enough with regular 80 gr ttsx even in sbr format? They may not need to design a more rapid expansion bullet? Unless someone wants to keep things above 100 gr then maybe. Agree it would be interesting to see what they come up with, but take your arc business to another forum will ya...the Grendel is better, that's what we talk about here.
