6.5 Howa in the swamp

I got this Howa 6.5 Grendel late in the season and put in right to work. I bought some Hornady Black ELDM 123 grain ammo and after confirming 100 yard zero, I headed to the farm. I was looking for venison for a friend so I went to a probable deer hideout. The beaver swamp. Let’s just say that this doe never knew what hit her. Shot was probably 75 yards threaded through a narrow opening. Ray Charles could have tracked this blood trail.
I’ve hunted deer with everything from 223 to 300 RUM and I love this rifle. It’s my perfect rifle for where I hunt. Beaver swamp to 300ish yard cut over fields.
I have a Oregunsmithing stock,bottom metal and Timney trigger ordered.
