The premise of donating money to pro-2A groups is that by empowering them more with lobbying dollars, they will be able to convince members of Congress not to support unconstitutional legislation designed to eliminate the few shreds of 2A left over.
When you look at the ground truth about election rigging and what is going on right now, do you really think these Congress members will listen and side with you?
Theyve all been conditioned to do whats popular and profitable, not whats right.
They are more obedient to the people that paid for their elections by bundling huge sums of money into Super PACs, not by whiny little constituents who are under the false idea that Congress is there to represent them.
They literally couldnt care less what you have to say, what you think, or what organizations you donate to on the side, because they know you pay far more money to the food and grocery manufacturers (giant lobby), big Pharma (giant lobby), insurance companies (giant lobby), big tech (not only giants, but giants with power over mass information), American Realtors Association, etc..

The moment 213 million Americans start putting more money every month into some other lobbying group indirectly, then that lobby will have huge power in DC.
Even once you get to just your State legislature senators, they dont give a rip about you in most cases. Theyre already being wined and dined by lobbyists and legal firms to see how loyal they will be to the party, before being given the opportunity to run for a House Seat once someone gets old or in the rare case of being voted out.
Your State legislature Congress reps are generally way more accessible, responsive, local, and almost totally powerless.
Senior Federal Representatives that sit on the relevant committees have a lot more power.
Senators even more.

None of them are motivated to fix anything really other than how to enrich themselves with insider-trading and connections to the huge lobbying groups.
Many of them fancy themselves as being Governors or Presidents some day. They will not get there by ignoring the big-money lobbyists and siding with you.
The State-level is where you are more likely to have success with supporting civil rights groups, so definitely work towards those ends.
State reps will be getting a lot of earfuls of irate constituents.
For the big Federal lobbyists, they would much rather be sent on junkets or weekend retreats to closed-off resorts with top security, high-end prostitutes, open bars with well-vetted staff, and no media coverage while the presentations are made to them in-between festivities.
