Next build AR 6.5 Grendel

Starting my next build. I have an Aero upper and lower receiver. Looking for a good quality barrel that won't break the bank. On my last 300 Blackout build I used a Wilson Combat 11.3" barrel and I'm happy with it. I'm considering a 20" Wilson Combat 6.5 Grendel barrel for this build. This will be primarily be used for punching paper and ringing steel. Possibly some long range competition.
Anyone have any experience with the Wilson Combat barrels in 6.5 Grendel? Thoughts?

I have an AR with a 20" Wilson Combat 6.5 Grendel barrel. I've only been able to shoot it once almost a year ago. The virus that has wrecked havoc with our lives has curtailed range trips. Anyway... It shot pretty well with some, now discontinued, 123gr Amax ammo. Because of a limited supply of that ammo, after sight-in, I only shot two 5 shot groups. Don't remember the exact group sizes but both were under an inch at 100yds. I was happy with them using factory ammo. Can't wait 'til I can shoot my own hand loads with my new eyeballs. Had cataract surgery on my right eye last week & will have the left eye done on Monday.

Wilson makes quality stuff...
